Its customary use is not for sawing bands - after all, most rock bands are able to take care of the splitting themselves, and what about fabric bands? Honestly, scissors are enough there, a saw is overkill.
And so, Jens Fager would rather use his band saw machine to make unique objects out of wood, such as the beautiful side tables that fill out the line-up of the RAW collection, launched in September 2008 along the principle of "rough and intuitive interpretations of iconic everyday objects."
As to Jakob Wagner, he's more into "straightforward stories" and fine bone china. No band saw machine, just the hand of man to polish each of the jugs in this series, whose organic unity complements well the new RAW side table. They are "like a heart and its veins or a tree and its branches." With this china creation straight out of the fire, Muuto is RAW but well baked.
