Between now and 2012, France's 35 billion electric meters will be replaced by Linky, the new "communicative" meter. The streamlined ergonomy revolves on a control screen with just two buttons, framed with nice chartreuse green. Now all that's left to do is wait for the French energy supply to become as green as its meter.
