Between All Hallow's Eve and the visit of Sandy Claws, time flies suspended, as a snow-flake blown about by the great autumn winds. Ghosts walk longer than usual, crows peck in your dinner plate, and weird rumblings come up from your basement, as if a stray bear tried to hibernate there. One can hear, at night, the Devil and his fiddle leading the saraband. The hair of the drowned wave in the current, and in the park's long drives, on the dead trees' trunks, sepia pictures flit under a breeze scented with flowers and the tomb. Beneath the falling snow marches a procession of small china animals. A miniature rhinoceros nudges a giant rabbit, and an all-white macaw endlessly caws a song he heard on a creaking gramophone. The doors of dreamy palaces come ajar in the hazy night; they are filled with mysterious rooms and curious cabinets. Masked figures dance in the gardens, their faces painted with night, and moon, and stars. Chic Cityrats offers a ride on its bizarre carousel.

Limited edition collection, 120 g., 38€
If Maïssa Toulet is our witch, then Michèle Gay is our fairy godmother. A pioneer of gourmet fragrances, she's enriched her line of magical scented creations with a pentaptych of candles freshly cast out of the athanor. Each one of them is spell-binding, and infinitely more complex than the raw name and pure white outline suggest. But the charm works even stronger when the fragrances are associated. Every combination is allowed and encouraged, they all were painstakingly elaborated inside Michèle Gay's alchemy laboratory. Five candles set as a pentacle inside a Silvera kitchen will increase tenfold the power of philters and poisons.

Interminable parades wail away rhythmically in the electric night. Ena Swansea's graphite nightmares haunt the calm Grand Duchy's nights; like a black pencil line binding New York to Luxembourg.
