1 & 2- The bride wears Manoush...!
Pop-up wedding collection, in stores February 6-13, 2010
From 300€
Frédérique Trou-Roy, founder and lead designer of the French brand Manoush, takes care of the animal realm by catering to the human race - especially brides and grooms to be.
Engaged couples planning a bohemian wedding, whether solemn or impromptu, would do well to pay a visit at a Manoush store when they start looking for a dress. During her extensive travelling all over the world, Frédérique put together a tiny collection of vintage gowns, which she cut shorter, dyed and customized until they unmistakably gave out that special Manoush vibe.
The brand donates all of the proceeds to the Marrakech-based Elga Heidrich foundation - akin to Noah's Ark really on terms of species diversity, and one of the precious few animal care institutions active in Morocco.

Rather original: celebrating one's birthday on a tree. That's apparently what Manoush is doing. On the occasion of their fifth birthday, the brand is editing a dress especially designed to be worn on a tree. Or anywhere else. Never mind. Most important: the apple and its little candle, the veritable acme of the birthday picnic.
