But the perfumery brand that bears its name is wise enough not to confine its fragrances to the scents of the sea and the weed-grown sandhills. The Lann Ael range, for instance, whose name translates to "Angel Heath", smells strongly of... hot cake, a delicious apple and vanilla pie.
